Graduated from the University of British
Columbia with a Bachelor of Science in
Physical Therapy. During the course of
his studies he was employed by the UBC
Department of Athletics to work as an
athletic trainer with varsity teams including
football, basketball, volleyball, soccer,
field hockey, and ice hockey. This extensive
experience with collegiate athletics later
led him to pursue his certification as
an athletic trainer. Michael went on to
attend the University of Indianapolis
where he completed a post-graduate degree
specializing in orthopedic physical therapy,
and recently became a certified strength
and conditioning specialist though the
National Strength and Conditioning Association
(NSCA).
Michael is a certified Clinical Instructor
and serves as the Coordinator of Clinical
Education for the Sport Specific Training
Group. He has been a guest lecturer for
physical therapy programs, and a presenter
for the Athletic Trainers Association
of Florida and the Florida Physical Therapy
Association.
