INTRODUCTION
Sound Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (SASTM) is designed to
manage musculoskeletal disorders by the utilization of instrumented
soft tissue mobilization. The SASTM method enables clinicians to
efficiently locate and treat soft tissue dysfunction with ergonomically
designed instruments. Treatment is conducted in conjunction with a
rehabilitation regiment designed to restore patients to their pre-injury
level of function.

ABOUT THE EDUCATOR
David Graston pioneered instrumented soft tissue mobilization and has created the SASTM method for treating soft tissue injuries. He originally developed tools to assist with his own recovery from injury and has continued to evolve his design to the instruments’ current form. David continues to work and educate a variety of health care professionals how to use the SASTM techniques to enhance their clients’ ability to recover from injury.
